About
Jia-Xin Zhong is a tenure-tracked assistant professor at Nanjing University. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the SIMBA Lab at Penn State University, working in the field of acoustics. He received his Ph.D. from University of Technology Sydney, and his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Nanjing University.
He has published over 30 journal articles in leading acoustics and signal processing journals, including PRL, PNAS, AM, IEEE SPL, IEEE TASLP, and JASA. He authored the first English book exclusively dedicated to parametric array loudspeakers.
His current research interests include sound field control, parametric array loudspeakers, audio signal processing, active noise control, loudspeaker array optimization, and acoustic metamaterials.
