About

Jia-Xin Zhong is a postdoctoral researcher at the SIMBA Lab at Penn State University, working in the field of acoustics. He received his Ph.D. from University of Technology Sydney, and his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Nanjing University.
Jia-Xin has published over 20 journal articles in leading acoustics and signal processing journals, such as PRL, PNAS, IEEE SPL/TASLP, and JASA. He authored the first English book exclusively dedicated to parametric array loudspeakers.
His current research interests include sound field control, parametric array loudspeakers, audio signal processing, active noise control, loudspeaker array optimization, and acoustic metamaterials.
